Today’s weather was just gross. I hung out with Kelly for a little bit after not dying some clothes. We went for boba tea just like the good old days in freshman year. I’m so happy I’m reconnecting with people I haven’t hung out with in a while. But I feel like I’m also losing people. I feel like everything’s changing so fast. I want things to change but I never wanted things to change this quickly. And I want to change but I’m afraid of losing people and pieces of myself. I’m just so confused in how I feel about all this right now.

What I’ve Eaten Today

Breakfast: Special K Protein Shake

Snack: Quack Mini Delights 90 cal pack

Dinner: Small bowl of Phở noodles, two rice paper egg rolls, 2 glasses of soda, small drink of boba tea

Snack: Bag of popcorn less than 100 cals

I learned how to dye fabric/clothes today! One step closer to being a costumer!

What I’ve Eaten Today

Breakfast: Special K Protein Shake – They’re so yummy!

Lunch: Dining hall – chicken burger, some curly fries, some baked potato, tried to eat some veggies but the dining hall’s veggie suck! I’ve never tasted anything so gross! Oh, and two glasses of soda.

Dinner: Special K Protein Shake

Snack: Some yogurt covered raisins, a couple drinks with the friends

So I figured out I missed a costuming major meeting yesterday. Oops. But no one ever told me. Is that a valid excuse? Oh, well. I talked to Karl so I got the 411 for the semester. I’ll probably just be doing alterations for The Grapes of Wrath and may possibly be constructing costumes for Tommy. There’s about 125 costumes for The Who’s musical. Wow…

First Day of Spring Semester

First day of the 2010 spring semester here at VCU went pretty well. Of course, it feels a little different having changed majors. Apparently, all the scenic design majors are working on The Grapes of Wrath set at the Barksdale Theatre. It’s kind of hard thinking that I should be there but I’m not a scenic major anymore. Costume major now – I even have a dress form coming in in the next week or two. This semester is going to be entirely different from any other. I needed a change. Hopefully, this will all be for the better.

History of the Theatre was okay. I have to figure out who I’m doing for my dead divas project ASAP. Survey of Western Art was a little dull. I can’t wait until we get to the Renaissance! Bring it on! I love artwork from the Renaissance! It’s just all so beautiful and the women are not stick thin. They’ve got curves and they’re gorgeous!

What I’ve Eaten Today

Breakfast: Special K Protein Meal Bar (perhaps the nastiest bar ever made) and water

Lunch: Chicken Burger, a little bit of fries, one chocolate chip cookie, glass of cranberry juice and two glasses of pepsi soda at the dining hall

Dinner: Special K Protein Meal Shake (it was actually kind of yummy!)

I’ve felt pretty full throughout the entire day. Yay for feeling full! Let’s see how in shape I can get before rehearsals begin.

UPDATE: Snack: peanut butter and those Quaker Rice Cake snack… things… They’re good!
